Premier Reference Report

Our Premier reference comes with additional protection. Should your tenant default on the rent then Rentchecks will pay the rent directly to you (max 12 months £2000 per month).
The tenant must meet our affordability criteria & have no adverse debt or payment records on file. If a Premier reference is purchased & the applicant does not pass then we simply charge our Priority referencing fee & refund the difference.

Even if your tenant's referencing was successful, things can occasionally go wrong. Should the worst happen, our Premier reference provides peace of mind by covering your rental income.

If your tenant suffers redundancy, divorce, separation or ill-health, it may no longer be possible to comply with the terms of the Tenancy Agreement:-

Your tenant may be unable or unwilling to meet the rent

The tenant may fail to vacate the property at the end of the tenancy

There could be delays in regaining possession of your property

Possible disputes between landlord and tenant may delay rent

What is covered?

The RentChecks Premier Reference covers the entire rental income (max £2000 pcm) in the event of the tenant not making this payment. We will pay the rent each month until such time as the property is re-let or until the end of the tenancy agreement (max 12 months). Unlike insurance based products and rent guarantee schemes you will not be subject to an excess period so you can be assured that your full rent is covered from day one!

Is this rent guarantee insurance?

No. We simply believe in & therefore stand by the quality of our referencing process. Any rent payments made to customers come from us however this also means that much of the red tape & claims procedures normally associated with rent guarantee products is eliminated.
If you would like to take out insurance, our Advanced, Premier & Priority reference reports are accepted by several insurance companies. Please ask customer services for details.

How much does it cost?

Our Premier Reference Report costs just £81.75 (plus VAT) for a 6 month report or £125.75 (plus VAT) for 12 months.

How do I submit a Premier Reference application?

You must register online or ask your prospective tenant to complete an application form.
If you have already referenced your prospective tenant using our Premier Reference & received a low risk report then you need do nothing further.
